Humanity will never be unified as long as people are different, and care about these differences. The main differences are culture religion, and race. Personally, I do not care who believes what, as long as it makes them happy, and they do not force their beliefs on me (this is different than talking about them as companions or acquaintances). Every person should be free to believe whatever they wish to believe and they should be free from persecution from anyone. Whether you be Muslim, Agnostic, Atheist, Christian, Buddhist, Jewish, or any other religion, we all should be free to believe what we wish. No one should have the right to tell you that you HAVE to believe in something. I sincerely hope that someday the world will be a little more open to everyone, and not just the rich, or the military. I look forward to the day when we can all cross each others borders without fear of retaliation, or fear of persecution from anyone, anywhere. However, a simple fact is that as long as there are people, there will be people doing stupid things. Sometimes the stupidity is so great it leads to evil acts. Sometimes, the stupidity is a cover-up for the evil intents, other times the evil is openly displayed. The American people are not evil. The majority of the American people don't want to be at war.., and here we are. I cannot apologize for the stupidity of my people, but I can sympathize with the rest of the world for how we must appear. I don't disagree that we appear as monsters - power-hungry westerners who's only drive is greed. Those certainly appear to be the motivations behind much of the current events, but I must inform you of the media censorship that is in place in my country. It is not official, but behind the scenes, our "News" stations make sure to give us only the information they want to give us - not all the facts. A few of us are intelligent enough to listen or watch for the few mediums that tell us the truth. For example, I had no idea that over 200,000 Iraqi's have been killed during this "war". Not until I looked around and found that information did I begin to become aware of the total censorship that exists in the shadows. Nothing I say or do can relieve anyones pain or suffering, and nothing I say or do will change the events to come. All I can do is look on with sorrow, and cast my "vote" against further aggressions with any other countries, where ever I can.
